My photo
When I paint, no matter what the subject matter is, I always strive to paint with loose, expressive brush strokes, using bold, vivid colors and a sense of humor. I work very spontaneously, mostly in mixed aqua media on paper because I like the way the paint flows and I like the transparency of the colors resulting in an organic piece. I constantly experiment with colors, techniques and subjects.

Mr. Demille, I'm ready for my close-up Number 26

Day 26 out of 30 for my Challenge of painting a farm animal everyday for 30 days.  I had a hard time today.  Just couldn't get it together.  For this one I used Fabriano Paper, 140 lb, rough.    New to me and totally different than Arches which I  usually use.  In some ways I find it difficult to work with but I am learning from the challenge.  So here is my drama Dairy Queen getting ready for her shot.

  1. This is one of your best! I love the whimsical attitude, the oversized snout, the hairy ears and the earring!
