My photo
When I paint, no matter what the subject matter is, I always strive to paint with loose, expressive brush strokes, using bold, vivid colors and a sense of humor. I work very spontaneously, mostly in mixed aqua media on paper because I like the way the paint flows and I like the transparency of the colors resulting in an organic piece. I constantly experiment with colors, techniques and subjects.

Bessie's Grim future

Bessie woke up one morning unable to produce milk for Farmer Guy.  She looked at the calendar and realized that she was of a certain age and no longer served a purpose for who she thought was a Gentleman Farmer...That is when she realized the grim reality of her future.  She would be visiting the Golden Arches, and not as a customer.

  1. You always make me laugh and feel better for visiting your wonderful blog. His face is so expressive...look at those eyes!

  2. Sorry, but I don't find this funny. Eating an old worn-out cow? That's quite sad for both for the cow and the consumer.

    1. Anonymous, this was not meant to be funny. It is what actually happens to dairy cows when they stop producing milk. They become ground beef. I was making a commentary not a joke. Notice the tear on the cows eye. P.S. And one of the biggest customers are the fast food places.

    2. Thanks for the clarification. The commenter before me did find it funny, and my response was more to her than to you.
